Find the Unique value is on the Edit <Name> Trigger page.
The unique value is a single field used to determine if data has changed since the previous workflow instance. Before the workflow instance starts, the polling trigger checks the designated field in the data set for changes. If no changes to the field are found, the workflow instance does not run. However, if any change is detected, the workflow instance changes only the modified records.
Recommendation: Use the date-modified field because it changes with every modification. Designate a unique variable carefully because changes to undesignated fields are not reviewed.
