The UltiPro / Cloudsnap connection uses UltiPro's web services, which require an UltiPro service account for Cloudsnap.
Note: UltiPro is now UKG Pro, but the functionality and user interfaces remain the same.
Before you begin
- You must be an UltiPro administrator to create a service account.
- Obtain a list of needed web services from Cloudsnap.
- As you work in UltiPro, note the following data that is generated. Later, you will enter that in Cloudsnap for your UltiPro application.
- Base URL (for example, https://service2.ultipro.com)
- Customer API Key
In UltiPro
Complete the following tasks before establishing a Cloudsnap connection.
Create UltiPro webservice account for Cloudsnap
- Log into UltiPro.
- Click System Configuration > Security > Service Account Administration.
- Under Add/Change Service Account, enter:
- Username
- Password
- Check the web services that Cloudsnap gave you.
- Choose the access for each web service: Add, View, Edit, and Delete.
Check all for full access. - Click Save.
Obtain service endpoint and Customer API Key
- Under the System Configuration / Security, click Web Services.
- Under Web Services, copy and paste the following into a blank document (NotePad, Word, or any text editor.)
- Customer API Key
- Login service endpoint (For example, https://service2.ultipro.com. This becomes the Base URL.)
- Save the data in the text editor to send or enter in Cloudsnap securely.
In Cloudsnap
- Log into Cloudsnap.
- On MY APPS, scroll to find UltiPro.
Note: If the connector is not in MY APPS, see Add App to MY APPS. - Click Connect.
- In the Connecting UltiPro window, enter
- Base URL
- Username
- Password
- US-Customer-Api-Key
- X-Correlation-Id (Unique identifier in the API header that links each message to a transaction for tracking.)
- Click Connect.
You receive a message when the test API Call is successful, or not.
