Overview
This guide will walk you through establishing a connection required for the Acumatica (Cloud) integration. It's divided into five sections.
Section 1: Before You Begin
Preconditions and Important Notes
- You must be an administrator for Acumatica.

Obtain the following data from Acumatica that you then enter in Paylocity's Marketplace:
- Username and Password
- Base URL, the same URL you use to log into Acumatica
- Acumatica Tenant
- Web Service Endpoint Version
Section 2: Acumatica Tasks
Obtain Acumatica details for integration connection
Task 1: Obtain Tenant name and Acumatica URL
- Step 1: As an administrator, log into Acumatica.
- Step 2: Select the tenant you will use for the integration. Not this tenant as it will be required in Section 3.
- Step 2: Copy Base URL
The Base URL is the one you use to log into your Acumatica account.
Copy the beginning of the Acumatica URL (https://<mycompany>.acumatica.com) from your browser and paste it into a document, as you will need this for a later step.
Task 2: Web Service Endpoint Version
- Step 1: While logged into Acumatica, use the search menu to search for Endpoint.
- Step 2: Click the Web Service Endpoints option under the Preferences section.
- Step 3: The Web Service Endpoints window will open. Here you will see a list of endpoints. Find the endpoint named 'Default' and copy its Endpoint Version. If there are multiple endpoints named 'Default,' choose the one with the highest version number.
- Step 4: Save the version number in the same document where you stored your Base URL. You'll need it for a later step.
Section 3: Establish Connection
Task 1: Make connection in Marketplace
- Step 1: If your Paylocity Marketplace wizard is still open, enter the values copied from the previous Sections into the authentication fields and click Authenticate (see step 5 below). If you've navigated away and need to reopen the wizard, return to Paylocity and navigate to the ☰ Workspace selection menu in the upper-left corner of the page. Select Marketplace.
- Step 2: Select My Integrations.
- Step 3: Select Drafts.
- Step 4: Select the Continue Setup button on the Acumatica app tile.
- Step 5: Enter the values copied from the previous Sections into the authentication fields and click Authenticate.
